In 2024 Chris became an IICRC approved instructor and started the Clean and Restore Institute, Training Australia-wide. He brings passion along with a friendly disposition, keen to share knowledge in Australia and New Zealand.

The Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification covers the art and science of carpet cleaning to professional service providers and others in related industries. Emphasis is placed on practical application, identifying fibre, yarn, and carpet constructions, style types, and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology, and other issues and concerns faced by individuals who maintain and clean installed broadloom carpet.
Upon achieving the certification, you will have demonstrated you know how to perform carpet cleaning techniques and procedures, including pre-inspection, fabric identification, basic cleaning chemicals and equipment, and proper cleaning techniques and procedures with a residential and light commercial emphasis. We will have a hands-on portion on stain removal and carpet identification.
After completing the course, you will be eligible to sit the IICRC exam. The exam cost is $80USD and is payable to the IICRC directly, by registering for your upcoming exam before sitting the course. Proof of payment is required to show the instructor, at exam time. Failure to pre-register, will exempt you from sitting the exam on the day.
